2026 Valley of the Sun YMCA Turkey Trot

A local Thanksgiving morning tradition, Valley of the Sun YMCA Turkey Trot has supported local non-profits with the goal of strengthening The Phoenix, Mesa and Scottsdale communities, collectively known as the Valley of the Sun. The event brings thousands of community members together for entertainment and run/walks designed for all ages. Whether you're a veteran runner or participating in your first race, we have an event for you, including a 5K run, 5K walk, and 1-Mile Kids Race. Strollers are welcomed. Start/Finish Line are located on the Tempe Town Lake in front of the Tempe Center for the Arts in Tempe Beach Park, our race venue host.

All participants will receive a goodie bag, t-shirt and finisher medal. Post race activities include complimentary refreshments, kids activities and more.
